Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have been associated with a wide range of conditions including cancer metastasis, blood disorders, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, and others. Their therapeutic potential as a cell free treatment for cancer and other pathologies has also been extensively investigated. The Inclusion of flow cytometric assays for small particle research enhances current detection methods, with the capability to analyze indvidual particles in significant numbers, as well as measure surface protein levels.
