Microvesicle Detection and Multicolour Cytometry on the 32 Parameter NovoCyte® Penteon™ Benchtop Flow Cytometer

27th April 2022
10:00 am - 10:45 am CEST
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have been associated with a wide range of conditions including cancer metastasis, blood disorders, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, and others. Their therapeutic potential as a cell free treatment for cancer and other pathologies has also been extensively investigated. The Inclusion of flow cytometric assays for small particle research enhances current detection methods, with the capability to analyze indvidual particles in significant numbers, as well as measure surface protein levels.

Within our webinar we will show the ability of the NovoCyte flow cytometer family to resolve small particles, using beads and cell derived EVs. You will also get insights into the unique technology of the NovoCyte Penteon instrument combining sensitive proprietary siPMs, 24 bit ADC´s for excellent particle separation without gain adjustments, and a fluidic system based on microfluidic technology to precisely determine cell number and concentration.
